What you’ll achieve
The Japan Marketing Director will focus on driving transformation and growth in support of our entire B2B business in Japan. This experienced marketer will be responsible for assessing key market trends, building comprehensive, thoughtful marketing plans for each customer set, and driving innovation in the Japanese market to solve key customer challenges and drive exceptional business growth across our key priorities. This leader will partner with the Japan Business leadership team to build a marketing strategy that brings new customers into the business. They will lead and inspire a high performing team and be a talent hub, leading the way in talent development for a digital future.
You will:
- Inspire customers and partners by bringing to life Dell Technologies key solution innovations across AI/Gen AI, Multicloud, the future of work and devices, edge (NativeEdge), and zero-trust security
- Create an end-to-end marketing strategy delivering growth in customer and partner brand perception and marketing business/demand contribution
- Inform and activate marketing strategies across all marketing levers (traditional, digital, events, enablement, and demand gen)
- Lead relationship and collaboration with Japan business and sales teams for aligned customer strategy
- Partner with marketing functional leaders in media, analytics, messaging, pricing, etc. to plan and deploy programs that drive demand for Japan
- Oversee budget, team performance, sales and marketing KPIs
- Attract, develop and retain top marketing talent to drive the Japan business
- Embody Dell’s culture code and set the bar for cross-functional excellence

Essential Requirements
- Inspirational team leadership experience, people leader for 5+ years
- 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing in Japan with an outstanding history of success
- Strong command of the Japanese technology market, key drivers of growth and industry trends
- Direct Field Marketing experience partnering with the business
- Expert in customer experience platforms of the future, customer journey activation across Sales Force Marketing Cloud, connected events platforms, etc.
- Experience identifying and assessing key business metrics and pivoting plans accordingly, utilizing information from agency partners, AI/ML based modeling, sales and customer input.
- Strong communication skills to articulate high-level lead strategy within all levels of the organization to both the business and global marketing while keeping a customer first mindset
Desirable Requirements
•Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
