Role Overview :

Responsible for driving VMware revenue to achieve fiscal AOP targets at the region/country level.Builds and maintains customer relationships, both internal and external, by providing guidance for VMware solutions with positive readily available presence to customers and partners. Active collaboration with core sales and BUs to drive the Dell EMC and VMware joint value proposition. Comprehends Dell EMC’s VMware GTM strategy for their region and guides the Dell EMC Core and overlays sales related to the appropriate route to market to transact and compensation plan.

Key Responsibilities

Operationalizesthe VMware forecast by interlocking with region/country leaders on the strategic VMware IOP actions.
Manages regional governance of VMware business including business reviews with country/regional leaders, tracking outlook, pipeline, regional core needs
Drives core sales leaders to drive agreed upon VMware plan, and track sales performance using agreed KPIs including Planning, Actuals, Outlook, Pipeline, AE/ISR participation, proper execution of Deal Registration
Builds and manages an experienced sales specialist team acting as the front-line executive
Ensures that all VMware specialists collaborate with eligible partners to close channel partner-initiated VMware opportunities
Leads territory planning & supports account planning with extended team
Acts as regional POC for escalation and enablement plans
Drives marketing funded activities (links with local country Marketing managers)
Is up-to-date with all VMware product offerings, licensing models, promotions, & industry & vertical solutions
Articulates Dell Technologies Transformations & Better Together vision to customers and internal teams
Complete VMware Sales certifications and Dell sales requirements per DTSU learning
Responsible for complete suite of VMware products and solutions (licensing, CI, OEM)
Responsible for RTM agnostic (Direct or Channel with eligible partners) selling leveraging DT Access for VMware, OEM, Select, 3P Distributor)

Essential Requirements
  • Typically 18+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience ·
